Known as "Aghdgoma" in Georgian, Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, symbolizing hope, renewal, and spiritual rebirth. The service culminates with the proclamation "Christ is Risen!" ("Kriste Aghsdga!"), to which the congregation responds, "Truly, He is Risen!" ("Cheshmaritad Aghsdga!"). This is followed by a festive feast, where families and friends gather to share traditional dishes. Georgian Easter traditions include dyeing eggs red, symbolizing the blood of Christ and new life, and baking "Paska," a special Easter bread.
